Greetings! My name is Chris, and I am a producer of beautiful magic. With my ominous mechanical arsenal of crafting tools I bring forth menacing masterpieces. I enjoy pushing boundaries and going against the norm, I want to show the beauty where others find darkness, to inspire, and to provoke emotions....and pay my bills.
The ability to inspire and elicit a subconscious emotional response brings me joy and a sense of accomplishment; I will seize my dreams by experimenting in all forms of imagination and creativity. I have been fortunate enough to find a way to combine my passion for building and designing things while exercising my imagination, with my love for art and technology; who could ever ask for a better opportunity?
About my craft, I am willing and able to attempt any style of photography, in any location, and in all environmental conditions. My favorite styles are based off of various artistic and emotional inspiration. One of my first large scale project was a series of Fear themed images. The objective of this project was to create a quality series of images that would evoke a specific fear in the viewer.
I currently shoot with a Sony SLT-A77ii and I have been utilizing Sony DSLRs since 2006. I have a full mobile studio that takes only a couple minutes to setup or tear down for any occasion.
I have worked with models, actors, actresses, brides, mothers-to-be, families and children. I do not discriminate based on age, gender, preferred sexuality, nationality, preferred religion, or any other issue for that matter. I am a "people person," I love to make people smile, and I am extremely easy to work with.
Most importantly, I have attempted some out of the ordinary and risky, potentially dangerous, sets, but there is one thing I keep in mind for everything I do. I never make someone do something that makes them feel too uncomfortable, nor would I make them do something that I wouldn't do myself.
This philosophy seems to be working thus far.
I started dabbling in the design realm in early 2004, prior to that I got my start with Adobe Photoshop 5.0 and Macromedia Freehand and Macromedia Flash. As most of you know, a lot has changed since those days. I currently operate the Master Collection of Adobe Creative Suite 6. I am well versed will most of the software Adobe has to offer, in fact, when time allows, I am an Illustrator and Photoshop tutor.
